If I were to recommend poems on the basis of a poet's dance moves, then Janine would be beyond calculation. I've been with this woman on the floor, and it is GROOVE! I'm not being figurative here. This woman tears it up. Add to that her poem "What After" in the Fall 2008 issue of Third Coast. And then picture me like, Damn. She just made a dance partner out of anaphora. Look at that twirly twirl she did. Look at those repetitive repetitions. And I'm like, yes, this woman's my colleague. Hew-stun represent!
