Big poems need to know their poem's breadth is extending beyond going wider than the poet's reach. And D. E. Steward's poem "Septemberis" in the Fall 2008 issue of The Literary Review is accomplishing that. I think so, at least, until I see on the FENCE web site a poem with the same title, and appears to have the same geography and style.Hmm. Is this the same? Does it change if it's only the Girl Talk style sampling from H. E. L. Mellerish and Italo Calvino? That is hard to say.
I want "Septemberis" (which I thought might be a color of red, and so I googled for definition), because it has big bones in it. A wide throat. And ceaselessly noted landscaping.
